There is so much to see and do in Amsterdam but the below are definitely a MUST.
Canal Cruise: Amsterdam has around 165 canals. Back in the day, these were fully exploited for the transport of cargo and getting around the city. It was, and to a certain point still is, popular to live on barges alongside the canals. This unique web of canals provides an opportunity for a great ride on a boat. You can sit back and admire the most iconic landmarks in the city. The takes around 45 minutes and goes around a circle stopping by the most important buildings.
Windmills at Zaanse Schans: A few train stops from Amsterdam you'll find the Zaanse Schans open-air Windmills museum. This spectacular place is home to a few remaining windmills in fully working condition up to this day. The majority of the windmills are open to the public between April and October. We recommend a visit as it is a fascinating experience to be inside these breathtaking windmills.
