How to get from Chicago Airport to the city centre

O'Hare Chicago Airport is an international airport located on the Northwest Side of Chicago and it's not too far from the city centre. As this is a massive and busy airport, there are plenty of transport options to choose from.

Trains: Catch the CTA train from terminals 1,2 and 3. It is open 24/7 and the Blue Line will take you directly from the airport to the city centre. The Blue Line costs around $5 and takes 45 minutes to get to town.

Taxi/Uber/Lyft: Taxis are everywhere. The ride to town will cost you approximately $50 and should take about 35 minutes. There is a flat fee of $24 per person for a share cab. Uber or Lyft will cost around $30. Don't forget to tip!

Shuttle bus: These services run every 15-20 min from Chicago airports to the city centre, and they offer direct transportation to many hotels in downtown Chicago.
