Looking to catch a flight to The Isle of Man? With Aer Lingus you can catch a cheap flight and be there in less than an hour.
Located on the south side of the island, the Isle of Man airport caters exclusively for UK and Irish flights. The airport is understandably small but does have a Café which serves food and alcohol. There are also all the regular money exchanges as well as a gift shop with all the regular premium brands.
The best option to get around the island is by car. There are car hire firms at the airport where you can arrange a rental. Other than that the best way out of the airport is by bus or taxi.
By taxi: the taxi rank is located right outside the main terminal entrance and a fixed tariff charge will be made available to you.
By bus: There are a wide range of buses available that service different parts of the island. As per the Isle of Man website: "1, 1A and 2 operate Monday to Saturday daytime and services 10, 11, 11A, 12 and 12A operate early morning and evenings Mondays to Saturdays and all day on Sundays between Douglas, Santon, Ballasalla, Castletown, Port Erin and intermediate bus stops."
