Transport from Heathrow Airport

With great transport services running frequently it's never been easier to get to the centre of London from Heathrow.

By Train: the best way to get to the city is via train. The station is located inside the airport and is close to both departures and arrivals. The easiest option is to catch the express train which runs every 15 minutes and takes around 40 mins.

By car/taxi: London's famous black taxis are available at each terminal. Rates will vary depending on traffic but you'll be able to see your fare as you travel.

By bus: With fares costing as low as £1.50 Heathrow is well connected to West London. But be aware you may need to take multiple buses to get to the centre of London.

Must see attractions in London

Camden: located in North London, Camden is a well-known cultural centre for alternative artists and movements. Camden market sells unique artwork, second-hand books and vintage clothing. There is an amazing choice of international street food available and when you are finished you can stroll down to Regents Canal to relax.

Hyde Park: a lovely stroll through hide park is an excellent way to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy London streets. During peak season there will often be performers (and sometimes protesters) dotted around the park.

Shoreditch: located in East London, Shoreditch is one of the trendiest parts of London. You could easily spend a day just checking out the fashionable restaurants and bars. The nightlife is similar in to the day when hip clubs open for some of London's trendiest people.

"Platform 9 ¾": A quick fun stop is going to see "Platform 9 ¾", made famous by JK Rowlings Harry Potter. Located at one of the busiest locations in London, "Kings Cross", you can pose with the luggage trolley that is disappearing into the wall.
