City Walls in the Old Town
The trademark of the city, the Walls of Dubrovnik surround the Old Town, probably the most interesting part of Dubrovnik with styles of architecture like Renaissance, Gothic and Baroque. The walls, which are 1940 meters long with 6 fortresses, were also one of Dubrovnik Game Of Thrones filming locations.

Lokrum Island
A place with several natural attractions, including some spots where the famous Game of Thrones TV series was filmed, Lokrum Island is positioned right off the coast of Dubrovnik. With its old Benedictine monastery and walking trails along the shaded alleys, the isle gives an unforgettable impression.

Srđ hill
Mount Srđ, a low mountain just behind the walled city, offers a spectacular view of Dubrovnik. It has a height of 412 metres and it is probably the most popular viewpoint of the city.

How to get from the airport to the city centre?

Dubrovnik airport is approximately 30 minutes away from the center of the city, and it is served by public transportation such as buses and taxis. Note that the official currency in Dubrovnik is the Croatian Kuna, so be prepared to exchange some Euros/US Dollars and have some at hand.

Taxi: Taxis are available at the airportTaxi stop is in front of the passenger terminal of Building B (Domestic and International Arrivals), and the services are available daily during airport opening hours. A trip to the city centre costs around 200 kuna.

Bus: There are several bus options from the airport to the city centre in Dubrovnik. The official shuttle bus offers transfers from the terminal to the main bus station in the city centre, and runs 7 days a week all year round.

Do I need a Visa to visit Dubrovnik?

If you are a European citizen, you need a valid passport or a valid national identity card to travel within Europe. Please be aware that immigration offices in some countries insist that passports must remain valid for a certain time AFTER your departure from their country.
