Aer Lingus Hub 1st Birthday Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Aer Lingus, Head Office, Shamrock House, Dublin Airport, Ireland.

2. Eligibility

  • Entrants must be aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
  • The competition is open to residents of Ireland only.
  • Employees of Aer Lingus, its affiliates, or anyone professionally associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, comment on the competition post on the official Aer Lingus Instagram account (@aerlingus) stating your favourite article from The Hub.
  • Only one entry per person is permitted.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter.

4. Competition Period

    • The competition opens on Tuesday 5th November 2025.
    • Entries close at 12:00 midday GMT on Friday 7th November 2025.
    • The winner will be announced on Friday afternoon via Instagram direct message.

5. Prize

  • One winner will receive two return economy class flights between Ireland and any direct European destination served by Aer Lingus.
  • Flights must be booked and taken within 12 months of the prize being issued.
  • Travel is subject to availability and blackout dates may apply (e.g. peak holiday periods).
  • Flights must be direct; stopovers are not permitted.
  • The prize does not include accommodation, transfers, travel insurance, or any other expenses.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries.
  • The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message.
  • Once contacted, the winner will be asked to provide an email address. Aer Lingus will then follow up via email to arrange the prize.
  • The winner must respond to the prize email with their chosen flights and travel dates.
  • If the winner does not respond within 5 working days, Aer Lingus reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity

  • By entering, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition, including use of their name and Instagram handle.

8. Data Protection

  • Personal data provided during the competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and in accordance with Aer Lingus’ Privacy Policy.

9. General

  • Aer Lingus reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time without notice.
  • Aer Lingus is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete.
  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram.
