General

1. Using “Pay with Avios” Members can use their Avios to to pay in full or in part for the total price of selected Aer Lingus flights (including taxes, charges and applicable ancillaries).
2. The relevant Avios discount rate for a booking will be displayed during the booking process once the Member is logged in. The discount or saving on the fare offered to Members in exchange for Avios when they use Pay with Avios will depend on the Member’s Avios balance in their AerClub account and the total price of the basket that the discount applies to.
3. Aer Lingus reserves the right to alter the applicable Avios discount rates at any time in its sole and absolute discretion. New discount rates do not apply retrospectively to pre-existing bookings already made.
4. Avios will be debited from the Member’s AerClub account on completion of the booking.
5. Avios and Tier Credits earned will be in accordance with existing AerClub terms and conditions.

Eligibility

1. 1. Pay with Avios is available only where all flights within the booking are marketed and operated by Aer Lingus or on Aer Lingus Regional flights sold via Aer Lingus.com or the Aer Lingus app. Pay with Avios is not available on bookings that contain a code share segment.
   2. Pay with Avios cannot be used to:
      • pay for third party ancillaries, for example, DAA Fast Track, DAA Car Parking;
      • pay for the addition of other passengers to an existing booking;
      • pay for bookings which contain a codeshare segment
      • pay for bookings through one of our customer contact centres
      • discount the purchase price of flights or ancillaries in existing bookings;
      • discount any fees related to making changes to an existing booking; or
      • discount any booking for 7 or more people (i.e. the maximum number of passengers in one booking that can be paid for using Pay with Avios is six people).
   3. Pay with Avios is available in selected currencies only, currently Pounds Sterling, Euro and US Dollars.
   4. Pay with Avios may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers unless expressly stated otherwise.

Cancellation/Changes

1. In the event that a Member wishes to change a flight booking where the Member has used Avios to obtain a discount, the published fare rules applicable to that booking will apply. Where appropriate, Members will be charged a change fee, as well as any fare difference. These charges cannot be paid for with Pay with Avios.
2. If a Member wishes to cancel a booking where the Member has used Avios to obtain a discount, the published fare rules will apply (i.e. Avios will be refundable only where the fare is refundable). If you are due a partial refund, any non-Avios payment will be refunded first (per the fare rules), followed by a refund of Avios (if any per the fare rules) to your AerClub account.
3. It is not possible to change the discount option once a booking has been completed.
