Mobile check in on the App is fast, easy and makes travelling with Aer Lingus more convenient than ever. Unfortunately you cannot use the App to check in for travel to or from North America. Use the App to check in if your flights is:


  • ✔ within Europe*
  • ✔ between 2 and 30 hours prior to your departure time
    • For transatlantic travel - You can web check in online between 2 and 24 hours prior to your departure time and print your boarding pass instead.
    • If your flight departs outside of 30 hours - You can web check in online between 30 days and 30 hours prior to your departure time and print your boarding pass instead. Please note a seat fee must be bought in order to advance check in.
    • If you booked flights via the Aer Lingus call centre or a travel agency - You can web check in online between 2 and 30 hours prior to your departure time and print your boarding pass instead.
    • *Faro and Donegal airports do not currently accept mobile boarding passes - You can web check in online between 2 and 30 hours prior to your departure time and print your boarding pass instead.
    Getting your boarding pass on your mobile is really straightforward. When you’ve entered either your web-enabled mobile phone number or email address, tap continue and you’ll receive a link to your mobile boarding pass. Just click on the link to display it.
    If you’ve any difficulty accessing the link, you can go to web check in online and reprint it from there.
    If you’re already at the airport and you can’t access your boarding pass link, you’ll need to go to a check-in desk and obtain a paper boarding pass.
    Once you’ve got the pass on your mobile screen, you’re good to go! No paper required, our boarding staff will simply scan your phone.
