Airport Notices

From time to time, some of the airports we operate to and from experience seasonal congestion or undergo refurbishment programmes. We endeavour to minimise any disruption for our passengers, and will advise of any necessary information here.

Advising all guests to arrive early

Due to recent enhanced security measures by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Dublin Airport is experiencing heavy congestion.

During peak summer season, guests travelling to the United States are advised to arrive at Dublin Airport a minimum of 3 hours before your scheduled departure time.

Advising all guests to arrive early

Due to high passenger volumes and changes in passport processing at many European airports this summer, we are advising guests to arrive at least 2.5 hours prior to scheduled departure times.

Please note that after proceeding through security screening there may be additional queues at passport control. Please allow ample time for this to ensure that you arrive at the boarding gate on time.

This applies in particular to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Frankfurt, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Milan Linate, Munich, Paris, Venice airports.

For passengers departing Birmingham Airport (BHX), please check the location of the check-in desks on arrival at the airport. There is some construction work on-going and this may result in a temporary move of check-in desk location for Aer Lingus flights.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
