Flight disruption due to French ATC industrial action on Thursday 25 April 2024

With the confirmation of industrial action by French ATC (air traffic control), there will be some delays and cancellations to flights on the Aer Lingus network on Thursday 25 April 2024.

We continue to monitor the situation and will update customers via our website or SMS messaging should the situation impact our flight schedule.

If your Aer Lingus flight is cancelled or rescheduled our Customer Care team will contact you directly or through your travel agent.

You will have the option to rebook free of charge at a later date, go to 'manage my booking' or call one of our customer service agents on (01) 761 7834 from Ireland and 0333 004 5000 from the UK.

We advise customers planning to travel on Thursday 25 April 2024 to please check their flight status before departing for the airport.

Flight Disruptions and Cancellations

In the unfortunate event of a disruption to your flight, for example a delay or cancellation, we'll do our best to minimise the inconvenience.

If you made your booking directly with Aer Lingus or on aerlingus.com and are impacted, we will contact you and advise you of your booking options.

If you booked through a third-party (travel or online agent or another airline), we will notify the original sales agent of the change to your itinerary. To receive updates directly, please contact us to update your contact details.

Please be aware that if your flight is significantly delayed and you choose to travel, you will not be entitled to a refund.

If your flight has unfortunately been cancelled you have 3 options:


1. Change your booking online

2. Request a voucher for future travel

3. Request a cash refund

Delayed baggage

We understand the inconvenience delayed baggage can cause, please rest assured, we will do everything possible to return your bag as quickly as we can and 90% of all delayed bags are returned to customers within 5 days.
