Convenient connections are available from 30+ JetBlue operated US cities and 20+ Aer Lingus operated European destinations through New York’s JFK or Boston’s Logan Airports. Together, we ensure a hassle free experience with dedicated professionals taking great care of you from booking, to baggage handling, the conclusion of your journey.
While Aer Lingus sell seats 11 months out, JetBlue schedules are extended for a shorter period, selling seats 6-10 months out.
Connecting in New York
Customers connecting to or from a JetBlue flight will arrive and depart from JFK's Terminal 5. Baggage will be transferred to your final destination.
Connecting in Boston
Aer Lingus flights arrive and depart from Boston Logan's Terminal E. JetBlue flights arrive and depart from Terminal C. It is a short 5 minute walk between Terminals E and C. Baggage will be transferred to your final destination.
Passengers will be able to select their seats on Aer Lingus flights after payment is confirmed. Seats on JetBlue are automatically assigned however passengers may call (800) 657-427 (in Ireland) or (800) JET-BLUE (in the US) to request specific seating for JetBlue flights. Passengers will need to quote the JetBlue booking reference on the first page of the email confirmation.
Aer Lingus/JetBlue Connecting Baggage Allowance and Fees
Between Ireland and USA
- Economy Class - Low Fare: 1st bag free,
€75/$100 baggage fee for 2nd and subsequent bags - weighing up to 23kg (50lb) per bag.
- Business Class - 3 bags weighing up to to 23kg/50lb each carried free of charge
- Excess weight fee is charged for any bag over 23kg/50lb
- The weight of any one piece of baggage must not exceed 32kg/70lb
- Baggage fees are collected at the airport of departure
Cabin baggage is restricted to one piece per passenger, weighing under 10kg/22lb in total. It must fit into an overhead bin or under your seat.
Changes & Refunds
Changes for this booking must be made through Aer Lingus. The change fee for Low Fares is €100/$150 per person in each direction, plus any difference in cost between the original price paid and price available at time the change is being made.
Changes, subject to availability, can be made up to 2 hours prior to scheduled departure of flight. Changes permitted from same country of origin only.
Aer Lingus and JetBlue Low Fares are nonrefundable, except that for flights to/from the United States, you may cancel the ticketed reservation without penalty and receive a full refund provided that you cancel the reservation within 24-hours after making it if the reservation is made one week or more prior to a flight's departure.
Changes or cancellations to itineraries must be made through Aer Lingus.

Unaccompanied minors under the age of fourteen will not be accepted by either carrier for connecting flights. Young passengers fourteen and older may travel unaccompanied. A Form of Indemnity must be completed at each origin airport. Young passengers will not be escorted to and from connecting flights.
With the exception of service animals, pets will not be carried on connecting flights.

Aer Lingus Gold Circle
Customers may enter their Gold Circle number during the booking process to earn credit on the Aer Lingus flights within their journey.
TrueBlue is JetBlue's customer loyalty programme. To receive TrueBlue points for a JetBlue flight, customers must visit jetblue.com/trueblue and either log in or register for the TrueBlue program. After logging into TrueBlue customers can request TrueBlue points for their flight by clicking on the "Request Points" link on the right-hand side of the page. Customers can apply for points on upcoming flights booked, or request "retro credit" for any trips taken on JetBlue within the last 90 days.
Aer Lingus has a codeshare agreement with United Airlines. Services are between Ireland and North America.

Aer Lingus Gold Circle members are able to earn points on trans-Atlantic flights operated by United and redeem points for travel across the United network. Additionally, Aer Lingus customers are also able to earn points on select United domestic flights.
Members of the United Airline's Mileage Plus® program are able to earn miles on the code share routes and may redeem Mileage Plus miles across the Aer Lingus network.
New Lounge Agreement with United Airlines: Aer Lingus Business Class customers travelling to / from the US and beyond via Chicago only on Aer Lingus codeshare flights operated by our partner United Airlines can now enjoy a seamless travel experience with access to United Airlines airport lounges.
Business class passenger connecting to / from United Airlines flights now have access to United Club lounges at airports including Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Minneapolis.
To access the United Airlines lounge simply present your Aer Lingus Business Class boarding pass and your United Airlines boarding pass at the following airports.

Aer Lingus has a franchise agreement with Irish regional airline Stobart Air under which Stobart Air operates a number of routes under the Aer Lingus Regional brand, livery and flight code.
This franchise agreement enables Aer Lingus passengers to book flights through aerlingus.com and all other Aer Lingus sales channels on a range of services to/from Dublin, Cork, and Shannon which are operated by Stobart Air as Aer Lingus Regional on Aer Lingus' behalf and to our high standards of customer service, quality and hospitality.
The agreement provides Aer Lingus passengers with increased services, in particular to the UK, a greater choice of frequency on services to regional UK markets and improved connectivity to/from Aer Lingus' Transatlantic network
Aer Lingus has proudly partnered with AbuDhabi-based airline Etihad Airways. In one transaction on aerlingus.com you can now book your flight between Dublin and multiple destinations in the Middle East, Malaysia and Australia.
Connecting in Abu Dhabi
Etihad flights between Dublin and Abu Dhabi operate into and out of from Terminal 3 in Abu Dhabi. Within the same terminal you can connect to your onbound flights to Australia, Bahrain, Malaysia and Oman. Etihad’s Terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi airport is an exclusive facility for our guests. Opened in February 2009, you’ll enjoy this modern, spacious and luxurious terminal.
When flying on either a direct or a connecting Etihad codeshare itinerary it's important that customers note the travel policies of the partnership which differ from those of a direct or connecting Aer Lingus service.
Web Check-in: You can web-check-in for your Etihad codeshare flight on www.etihad.com. You must use the Etihad reference number as on your confirmation email.
Airport Check-in: Use the Etihad check-in desk for all flights. In Dublin this is located on the Ground floor at Terminal 2. Check-in at Abu Dhabi is located in Terminal 3.

Checked Baggage Guidelines
- If connecting in Abu Dhabi you can check your bags through to your final destination.
- Passengers can check-in 2 bags free of charge.
- Baggage fees will apply for 3rd and subsequent checked bags.
- Excess weight fee is charged for any bag over 23 kgs (50lbs).

- All carry-on must be within the size dimensions of 60cm x 35cm x 20cm.
