We’re delighted to be the official airline of this years’ Dublin Pride Festival and we’re gearing up to take part in Saturday’s parade.

As this year’s theme is ‘We are Family’, more than 250 Aer Lingus employees together with their friends and families will represent Ireland’s only 4 Star airline in the 2018 Pride Parade, along with a specially created float that is unmistakably ‘Aer Lingus’.

As part of its investment in bringing diversity to the workplace, we set up ProudFlies, the Aer Lingus LGBT and Allies Network with the aim of building an inclusive, open community where colleagues feel that they can bring their whole selves to work. We are going through a substantive growth period and we welcome people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to join us and help the airline be fit and ready for what lies ahead in the 21st century. We’re delighted to have such strong support from staff members as hundreds represent Aer Lingus together with their friends and families at the Dublin Pride Parade on Saturday

Since its official launch last year, ProudFlies has hosted numerous LGBT focused events, including the recent visit of world famous Rugby Union referee Nigel Owens to our HQ.

Here’s to a great day tomorrow. Happy Pride everyone!
