It's all going on in Northern Ireland - Top 5 things to do

Belfast Top 3

Titanic Belfast - Titanic Belfast lies at the heart of the Titanic Quarter. Today's immersive exhibition tells the ill-fated liner's story. Journey outside and explore the heart of this bustling quarter with boat tours, a sea safari and step back in time and stand at the bottom of the enormous Thompson Dry Dock - which remains completely unchanged since 1911.

Cathedral Quarter - Home to cobbled streets, beautiful old buildings and photography exhibitions, the Cathedral Quarter is the perfect place for artistic inspiration during your stay. Catch a performance at the MAC theatre or sample local cuisine in one of the many restaurants and bars on offer, a local favourite being the John Hewitt, renowned for its music on a nightly basis.

University Quarter - Nestled into the beautiful Botanic Gardens; take a visit to the Ulster Museum, a spacious four-level exhibition with displays devoted to art, natural science and history. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens and then head across to the famous Queen's University.

Outside the City

The Causeway Coast - Just north of Belfast the road hugs the coastline, passing picturesque villages and offering breath-taking views. Tackle the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge along the way; the swaying structure is suspended above a 100ft chasm. Or explore the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Derry Londonderry - Having just emerged from City of Culture 2013, Derry Londonderry has continued to impress with its calendar of cultural events. The historical walled city is a cultural hub and a hotbed for live music. In the evenings, music trails out of most bars and venues like the Verbal Arts Centre and the Millennium Forum, drawing visitors from around the country and abroad.
