Inflight health and comfort
Here are some tips to ensure your comfort and help to reduce the possible effects of long-duration flights:
Exercise Inflight
- Periodically, exercise feet, legs and ankles. neck and shoulders.
- Drink plenty of fluids but avoid alcohol
- Avoid sleeping tablets
"Jet Lag"
- Avoid heavy food, alcohol, tea or coffee the day before travel.
- On board, wear loose fitting clothes and apply a good moisturiser.

- On arrival adjust your activities gradually to the time zone. Try mild exercise.
Medical conditions
Any passenger concerned about a medical condition should consult their doctor for advice before flying. A list of conditions that would require medical clearance before flying can be found here.
Special assistance
Passengers requiring assistance or who have special requests should inform us at the time of booking and no later than 48 hours before departure. We will do what we can to help. Please note that if you change a booking online that already contained your special request, this information is not automatically transferred to your new booking and should be re-requested through our helpdesk.
