Benefits for Passengers
- The move to T2 enables passengers to benefit from the provision of the United States Preclearance facilities at Dublin airport. This allows departing passengers, for the majority of US flights to clear not only US immigration but also full US customs and agriculture controls. The benefit of this service to passengers is that, having collected their luggage at their US airport of arrival, they can move quickly to their next destination without any further processing requirement.
The preclearance facility, which will be operated by US personnel, is located on the ground level of the new terminal.
The following flights to the US pre-clear US Customs and Immigration in Terminal 2 (Dublin) before departure:
Flight Number From To EI 105 Dublin New York EI121 Dublin Orlando EI 125 Dublin Chicago EI 137 Dublin Boston

T2 will improve the airport experience for passengers and adds to the overall enjoyment of travel. It is designed to meet the needs of long-haul and short-haul passengers in a 21st century building, offering appropriate levels of space, light and comfort and a abundance of service options.
