Airport Information and Directions
Shannon Airport is located approximately 24 kilometres from Limerick and 22 kilometres from Ennis.
*Please be advised that from Monday 18th April to Wednesday the 18th May 2011 approximately, essential resurfacing and associated ground works are taking place at Shannon Airport. Traffic delays will be expected.*
Terminal Information
Aer Lingus operate from Terminal 1 at Shannon Airport. The check-in area is located on the ground floor of the departures terminal. Check-in information monitors, giving the check-in desk number allocated to your flight, are located in the lobby at the entrance to the terminal and inside the check-in area directly in front of each bank of check-in desks.
Check-In Time
Long Haul Routes (Depart or arrive outside Europe): 3 hours 30 Mins before departure*
Short Haul Routes (Depart and arrive within Europe) : 2 hours 30 Mins before departure*
*Check-in for all flights closes 45 minutes prior to departure.
Lounge Location
Aer Lingus Gold Circle Club members are eligible to use the Rineanna Suite. The Rineanna Suite is located on the corridor adjacent to the WHSmith outlet in the Departures Lounge and is open from 06.00-17.00 daily.
