Airport Check-in
Dublin Airport Check-in
Check-in for ALL Aer Lingus flights (including flights to the UK, Germany, France and Italy) departing from Dublin Airport is located in areas 3, 4 and 5 on the main departures level.
Please check information boards in the airport terminal building for check-in details for your flight.

- Check-in for all flights closes 45 minutes prior to departure.
- Check-in facilities in Shannon airport do not open before 05:00am.
- Passengers who do not comply with Check-in Deadlines will not be accepted for travel. They may change their booking up until the flight they were booked on has departed, thereafter it will be treated as a 'no-show' and the booking will be forfeited.
Business Class & Gold Circle check-in
Where the Business Class product is offered for travel, each airport will has a designated Business Class check-in area. Some airports have designated Gold Circle check-in desks.

Check-in for Ticketless travel
Ticketless flight check-in 3 simple steps:
- Go to your assigned check-in desk.
- Provide your booking reference and photo ID (passport, driving licence).
- You will be checked-in and given your boarding card.
If your journey includes onward flights you can avail of ticketless check-in to your final destination, where an agreement exists between Aer Lingus and the other airline.
Onward check-in
Onward check-in (on same day of travel) is available on selected Aer Lingus flights and with the following airlines:
- AA American Airlines
- AF Air France
- AY Finnair
- BA British Airways
- CX Cathay Pacific
- EK Emirates
- IB Iberia
- KL KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
- QF Qantas
- SQ Singapore Airlines
Hand Baggage, Ticket & Customer Service Desk check-in
Passengers travelling with hand baggage only can check-in at:
- Designated hand baggage desks
- The Ticket Desk, when collecting tickets, and
- The Customer Service Desk.
Same-day return check-in
Passengers to most UK destinations, with hand baggage only, can be checked in for both outbound and return flights.
