Terms of use

Internet bookings
Use of the Aer Lingus online booking facility is available worldwide.

We have site members all around the globe. Bookings may be made for all Aer Lingus operated flights and selected destinations in the United States and Canada. Multi trip and oneway bookings can also be made on some codeshare routes. You can book online for up to 6 passengers per booking.
Provisional bookings and reservations
The Aer Lingus online booking service can only be used for purchasing tickets. It cannot be used to make provisional bookings or to hold reservations.
Fare rules
By using this Aer Lingus booking service, you will be subject to the fare rules that apply to the particular ticket purchased. These fare rules will be made available to you once you have completed your travel and personal details and before you are asked to make payment.
Changing and cancelling your booking
If you wish to make changes to or cancel a booking made on the Aer Lingus website, please call your local Aer Lingus office. For relevant contact details, please refer to the 'About Us' section of this site. Depending on the conditions applicable to the fare you purchase, changes to or cancellation of your ticket may not be permitted or change/cancellation fees may apply.
Your payment
A credit/debit card is required to make a booking through the Aer Lingus website. We currently accept Access, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Universal Air Travel Card, Laser, Solo, Switch and Delta cards. Your method of payment will be charged when you click the "Purchase Flights" button on the "Purchase" page. At that time, your billing address is verified and your tickets are issued. You also have a delivery address option whereby tickets may be sent to an address other than the card holder's address.
Ticket issue method
Tickets will be posted to the cardholder's address if a booking is made at least seven days before the date of departure or in the case of the United States and Canada, tickets will be delivered to the cardholder's address if a booking is made at least 48 hours prior to the date of departure.
For journeys originating at certain European airports, tickets may be collected on departure by the cardholder. In this instance the card used for payment must be presented on collection of the ticket. Ticketless travel is now available on many of our routes. More information on Ticketless travel can be found in the Need Help section.
Conditions of Carriage
In addition to the above terms, your ticketing and flight arrangements are subject to the Aer Lingus General Conditions of Carriage.
