Your Booking Details - Retrieve Booking

Bookings made through aerlingus.com can be checked-in online up to 30 days in advance on selected routes, excluding US flights including JetBlue and United Airlines connections, Group bookings and bookings made via travel agencies.

You must book seats prior to check-in. It is not possible to check-in if you haven't assigned seats for the passengers you wish to check-in.

You must fill in the following details in order to retrieve the flight:
- Booking Reference: Unique identifier containing a series of six alpha and numeric characters, which can be found on your Email Confirmation.
- Flight Departure from: Departure city of the flight you wish to check-in.
- Flight Arrival at: Arrival city of the flight you wish to check-in.
- Email Address: Email address used when making your booking.

Please ensure that you use the departure and the arrival airport of each flight.
- For flights to Spain you must submit Advance Passenger Information prior to check-in.
- You can also re-print your boarding pass for passengers who have already checked-in.
- Online Check-in requires you to print your boarding pass. To do so you must have Adobe Acrobat reader.
View Itinerary
- The summary of your booking is displayed.
- The flight selected is highlighted in green.
- You will get an option to check-in the passengers.
- Tick the box beside the passengers that you wish to check-in.
- If you have completed check-in, you will be given an option to re-print the boarding pass.
- Tick the box beside the passengers that you wish to re-print the boarding pass.
- Either check-in or re-printing the boarding pass can be done at a time. It is not possible to do both check-in and re-printing boarding passes at the same time. You must do so separately.
Passenger Information
- The passenger names you have selected for check-in or re-printing the boarding passes in this transaction will be displayed.
- Please ensure that the passengers you have selected are correct.
- At least one Adult must be selected when checking in Child. It is not possible to check-in child passengers only without an adult passenger.
Boarding Pass
- If you are happy with the details you are checking-in/re-printing boarding passes, click 'Generate Boarding Pass'.
- Your boarding passes will open in a new window.
- Adobe Acrobat reader is required to generate your boarding pass. This software is free and is available for download here.
Check-in Confirmation
- You have completed checking-in the passengers or re-printing the boarding passes.
- Please print your boarding pass now.

Each boarding pass will print on one page.
- The first half will be required at the boarding gate.
- The second half is to be retained for your flight.
Routes available for Advance Check-in
- All flights between Ireland and the United Kingdom.
- All flights between Ireland and Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland,
Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,
Turkey.
- All flights between Ireland and Lyon, Nice, Paris, Toulouse, Perpignan, Marseille, Bordeaux.
- All flights from Ireland to Amsterdam, Rennes, Agadir (ex Ireland only).
- Advance Check-in is not available for flights to and from Ireland and the USA due to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Secure Flight program.
Terms and Conditions
- Passengers must allow sufficient time to complete baggage acceptance and security screening.
- Passengers must have valid photo identification.
- Passengers must be at the boarding gate at the time specified on the boarding pass.
- Passengers must be in possession of a valid passport/visa if required for the destination.
- It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure that they have only their own personal effects and baggage, that no one interferes with their baggage or any item they are carrying and that they do not carry any items on board for anyone else.
- Aer Lingus Flights - Cabin baggage must weigh less than 10 kgs / 22 lbs in total carried in one bag per passenger and be small enough to fit in an overhead bin or under your seat. The maximum dimensions for a cabin bag are 55cm x 40cm x 20cm or 22in x 16in x 8in. Limits are strictly enforced.
- Aer Lingus Regional Flights (Flight numbers 3000-4000 operated by Aer Arann) - Cabin baggage must weigh less than 7 kgs / 15 lbs in total carried in one bag per passenger and be small enough to fit in an overhead bin or under your seat. The maximum dimensions for a cabin bag are 43cm x 28cm x 20cm or 17in x 11in x 8in. Limits are strictly enforced.
- Aer Lingus prohibit the carriage of certain items in the cabin or the hold. You must understand the regulations governing these prohibited items.
