How to re-book a cancelled flight
Change Your Booking - Retrieve

You can use this online facility to change your travel dates, time or destination. Please note any changes made here will apply to all passengers. If you wish to change some of the passengers only please contact our helpdesk.

Click Manage Booking to proceed.

You must fill in the required information correctly before changing your booking.
- Booking Reference: Unique identifier containing a series of six alpha and numeric characters, which can be found on your Email Confirmation.
- Departing From: Departure city for your outward itinerary
- Arriving At: Arrival city for your outward itinerary
- Email Address: Email address used when making your booking

Bookings made through the Aer Lingus website can be changed online (except Gold Circle redemption bookings and USA bookings including American Airlines connections). Bookings made through other channels must be changed by contacting the original sales agent.
Change Your Booking - Select Changes

Changes made within 30 days of the original flight date are free of charge. Changes made for dates beyond 30 days of the original flight date are subject to the standard
change fee.

Please note if changing the first flight of your itinerary to a different route a fare difference may be payable.

To proceed, tick the box beside the flight(s) you wish to change.
Plan Your New Booking

Your original itinerary will be presented with options to select new dates and flights.

If your travel dates are flexible, you can see a calendar display of available dates and fares by choosing the 'Yes' option under 'My travel dates are flexible'.

Make sure that the details you have selected are correct before you proceed.
Select Dates/Flights

To view flights/fares on alternative days of service, click 'Previous Day' or 'Next Day'.

You can check the flight details by clicking on the flight number in the Flight column.

The fare conditions on the original booking will apply when changing.

Make sure you select a flight for your new itinerary by clicking on the circle that relates to your desired flight.
Price

This is where the specific details of your new itinerary are displayed.

The change booking fee and any fare difference (where appropriate) will be waived here.

In order to continue with your new itinerary, you must accept the fare rules by clicking in the box.
Passenger Information

This is where you fill in your personal details.
-
The customers will be required to fill in their personal details as passenger information may have been changed since the original booking was made.

Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*) and must be completed to proceed.

Certain characters are not accepted, namely: comma (,), oblique (/), brackets ([]).

Long-haul passengers: if you change your flight itinerary and you had a special meal requested on your original flight, this request will not be transferred across to your new flights.

Wheelchair requests - Please contact our helpdesk at +353 818 365 044 (Europe), or 516 622 4222 (North America) if you have difficulties ascending or descending steps, or if you require any special assistance on board for medical reasons.

Email notification - Please ensure you key in your e-mail address correctly and that your account is active, as your confirmation e-mail will be sent to this address.

There is no card payment required for this booking. There is no additional charge for your transaction.

Booking Confirmation

The confirmation page confirms your changed itinerary. We recommend that you print this page and keep it for your records.

An email will be sent to you confirming your flight details and fare information.

When you click on the Go To Homepage button, you will be returned to the Home Page.

If you wish to make changes to another booking, click on the Return to Manage Booking button and select 'Change your times/dates or destination for your travel.'

If you had travel insurance for your booking and you made changes to your travel plan, you must contact Mondial Assistance Group to update your travel insurance details.

If you did not select seats on your original booking, and you wish to do so now, click 'Select my Seat' and you will be redirected to the Seat Selection page.
