Using Points on Aer Lingus

Gold Circle Club members can use Gold Circle Points for reward flights* with Aer Lingus, our airline partners and for upgrades to Business Class on Aer Lingus. Elite and Prestige level members can also spend points with our Programme Partners.

*Subject to paying all of the applicable taxes, fees and carrier charges.

Note: A Gold Circle upgrade allows you to enjoy our Business Class service while travelling on a regular fare ticket on Aer Lingus scheduled services only. All normal booking rules apply to the ticket purchased. Upgrades are not available on our partner airline flights. To upgrade your economy flight please call Gold Circle Reservations on 0818 365 900 or for US based members by calling 1-800-IRISH AIR.

Please note that there are no reward seats/upgrades available for MAD to/from IAD flights or on Aer Lingus Regional flights.

Gold Circle Points levels, gifts and other information are liable to alteration or amendment without notice.

Charter flights are not eligible for earning or redeeming Gold Circle points.

How to Book a flight using Gold Circle Club points

Book flights on any Aer Lingus direct service* by just following these three simple steps:

1. Click on the LOGIN/JOIN link in the top navigation on any page on the site. By entering your Gold Circle number or email address into the appropriate fields, you will enter your account area. Don't worry if you have forgotten your password, you can update it.
2. You will arrive at your own personalised homepage. You have access to a list of action links - simply click on the link reading 'Book Flights with Gold Circle points'.
3. Now you can start the booking process. You have access to your points balance throughout the booking process. On completing your booking your account balance will be deducted with the applicable amount of points and applicable taxes, fees and carrier charges will be paid with credit card - you'll soon be on your way!

* Flights on non direct Aer Lingus services can be booked by calling Gold Circle Reservations on 0818 365 900 or for US based members by calling 1-800-IRISH AIR.

*Selected flights only. Points required are per seat upgrade each way, subject to availability. Contact Gold Circle administration to reserve your Premium seat.
